STRATEGY

I - INFRASTRUCTURE

a) The council will establish a registered company in Romania to act as an importing entity for Indian products, and another company in India that will serve as a consolidating agent for exporting products from its non-export compliant small-scale members. Members who are export compliant can send their goods directly.

b) Shop in Bucharest, Romania & Berlin/Germany.

c) A dedicated transport vehicle will be available for the transportation of goods to attend trade fairs in entire Europe and also for making deliveries in Europe.

d) An active website will be developed for online sales in Europe.

e) Residential accommodation will be arranged in Bucharest for personal use with 1 or 2 Indian staff always present.

By establishing this infrastructure, the council aims to keep fixed overheads to a minimum, allowing the project to become self-sustaining and operate in an automated mode.

 

WORKING MODULE

a) The council will select Indian products from its members for export to its Romanian setup. Members will have the option to export independently to the business setup in Romania or sell locally to the Indian arm of the council, with the condition that the goods are exclusively for export and cannot be sold or displayed locally.

b) The council commits to making an annual minimum local purchase of Rs. 2 crores from its existing members for export to Europe.

c) The Romanian arm of the council will establish franchise agreements with major retail chains across Europe and register with prominent Export Promotion Councils in Europe.

d) Goods imported from India will be advertised and displayed extensively throughout Europe, including on the active website for online sales.

e) The products will also be showcased at major trade fairs across Europe.

f) All export orders from European companies will be redirected to the respective manufacturers, with a small percentage of the order value shared with the council to cover its costs and maintenance expenses.

g) The council will provide assistance to its members regarding visa issues and their visits to Europe, as well as offer warehousing facilities for their products in Europe.
