Terms of Membership

- Membership does not give you any rights, rather it’s YOUR SUPPORT to the aims and objectives of the Council.

- Membership charges Rs.5000 add GST as per Government notification which at present is 18%. This is subject to change without notice.

- Any person or identity can be the member of the Council. Basic information is to update your address, email address & occupation which can be SERVICE or BUSINESS too.

- Mobile number and other details are also requested but is not compulsory. Nothing is a must other than the correct address which must be updated within a week, if is changed.

- You will need to inform by email your correct address within 7 days if there is a change. If your address is found wrong or incomplete, your membership will automatically be considered as cancelled without notice. In case of inadvertent error the matter shall be looked into by the Board of Directors and you can submit your submissions in writing / email.

- Membership once paid is non refundable under any circumstances. In case the Council has made some inadvertent error to your disadvantage, at the maximum your membership can be extended by one year.

- Each member shall be given a unique membership number which can be by email or post. In case you do not receive one, please ask via email.

- Memberships taken on or before 2023 will be valid till December 2024. Membership taken after the year 2024 will be valid for one year from the date of ISSUE of membership certificate.

- Membership certificate is just an added proof of your membership. Once payment is made and there is no correspondence from the council within one week of the amount being credited, your membership stands confirmed.

- Any complaints lodged in writing or via email shall be replied within 30 working days. If you still are not satisfied you can request for a personal hearing with the BOARD OF DIRECTORS, the Minutes of which shall be prepared and given to you there and then duly signed by the Board members present.

- Promotion councils and other trade Bodies can also become members by payment of Rs. 1 lakh for one year. A council membership shall apply to each of its member provided the council on its letterhead duly stamped and signed, gives the name and address of its members, along with correct email address. This shall be validated in writing by the council i.e. IRC – Indo Romanian Council - Center of External Relations, within 15 days of receipt.

- One time membership fees can be paid for a maximum period of 3 years.

- In case of any dispute, the Board of Director’s decision shall be final. Your submissions in writing shall be considered and replied to, in all fairness. Legal jurisdiction shall be that of Delhi ONLY..
